The selection of medicine should be based strictly on the basis of symptoms. Adult:

There are no cut-and -dried rules for determining correct potency required in a particular case. Several summers' experience alone is the best teacher. In acute diseases, potencies, namely, 3x, 6 and 30 are generally most satisfactory in their results. In chronic diseases, where deep acting medicines are selected, they are generally given in higher and highest potencies like 200, 1000(1M), 10,000(10M), 100,000(CM). A general rule is that higher and highest potencies of a remedy act best, when it is sharply indicated by the symptoms. |
